Keel Roller for Trailer – 14 cm, Ø78 mm (White Non-Marking)
This keel roller (14 cm × Ø78 mm) is designed to support your boat’s keel and make it easier for the boat to slide on and off the trailer. The roller’s white color signifies that it is made from a special polymer material (such as polyurethane) that is non-marking – unlike traditional black rubber rollers, this one won’t leave dark lines or scuffs on your boat’s gelcoat or paint. The material is both firm and elastic: firm enough to bear the weight of the boat, yet elastic enough to absorb shocks and vibrations, thereby protecting the hull.
With an outer diameter of Ø78 mm, the roller offers a large contact surface with the keel, which distributes the load and reduces friction during loading. This greatly facilitates the launching and retrieval process – the boat essentially rolls over the supports instead of dragging with high resistance. The 14 cm length is a universal size, suitable for many types of trailers and boats (typically small and mid-sized vessels up to ~5–6 m).
The roller’s inner bore is about 19 mm, matching standard keel roller shafts. In many cases, the roller comes with a plastic bushing to ensure a snug fit on the axle or to allow adaptation to a slightly smaller shaft (~16 mm) if needed. This makes it compatible with a wide range of mounting setups. The roller can be easily installed in place of an old or damaged one – a simple way to restore your trailer’s functionality and improve protection for your boat.
