Stainless Steel Eye Bolt with Ring AISI 316 (M6, M8, M10, M12)
Stainless steel eye bolts with ring (double ring) combine the strength of a standard eye bolt with the added advantage of a movable inner ring. This design allows the attached rope, strap, or chain to move freely and align with the direction of pull instead of twisting the bolt. The result is a safer connection, less stress on the fastener, and reduced risk of loosening under vibration. The bolts are made from marine-grade AISI 316 stainless steel, meaning they can withstand harsh open-sea or industrial conditions without corroding. As with standard eye bolts, each unit comes with a durable nut and wide washer for secure fastening.
These double-ring eye bolts are useful wherever the pull direction may vary or where a flexible attachment point is needed. They are used on boats and yachts to install rigging points that can articulate, on trailers to tie down loads that might shift, and in industry for lifting components that need to remain adjustable. The different sizes allow you to choose a model based on load requirements and diameter:
- M6 x 60 mm – A small eye bolt with ring, suited for relatively light applications where some flexibility is needed – for example, securing a canvas or tarp that may move, or as a tie-down on a small boat trailer. (Typical use: small vessels and loads up to ~300–400 kg.)
- M8 x 80 mm – A versatile medium size. Excellent for deck and structural mounting where ropes may pull at an angle – such as folding seats, hatch lids, or securing safety equipment that might shift. (Ideal for boats ~5–6 m and medium duty loads.)
- M10 x 90 mm – A large double-ring bolt offering high strength and reliability. Perfect for heavier tasks: for instance, as an engine lifting point that allows slight movement, or for attaching heavy equipment that is subject to vibration. (For boats 7+ m or equivalent loads – provides a high safety margin.)
- M12 x 90 mm – The most robust option, meant for maximum loads while retaining flexibility. Suitable for industrial uses and large yachts – e.g. in overhead lifting systems where the ring needs to self-align with the load, or for heavy structural mounts. (Approximate capacity: over 1 ton safe working load.)
