Premium Stainless 316 Hatch Lock – Shock-Absorbing Gasket, Locking/Non-Locking
This premium round boat hatch lock is engineered to deliver the highest level of functionality and durability. Its body is made of AISI 316 stainless steel and features a rubber sealing ring that keeps water out and absorbs vibrations when the boat is underway. The result is a quiet, smooth closing action with no annoying rattle, as well as enhanced water resistance – crucial when facing waves or rain. Even with prolonged use in the salty marine environment, this latch maintains its reliability and shiny appearance without corroding.
The lock’s advanced mechanism holds the hatch firmly shut while still allowing easy opening via the pull-up handle. Two versions of the model are available: one with an integrated lock cylinder (keyed latch) for situations where extra security is needed, and a standard non-locking model for quick access. The locking version provides the ability to secure the hatch or compartment, and it comes with two keys – ideal for protecting valuables or equipment when the boat is unattended. The standard version, on the other hand, is excellent for interior hatches or those that are accessed frequently where locking is not necessary. Installation for both versions is straightforward – the latch fits standard round cutouts and mounts securely with the provided stainless steel screws.

- Locking Model (01030-L): Recommended for exterior deck hatches, storage lockers, and doors that need to be secured. It features a built-in locking mechanism and comes with 2 keys, making it ideal for safeguarding valuables or gear when your boat is unattended.
- Premium Quality & Use: An ideal choice for larger boats and yachts (5 meters and above) where silent hardware operation and exceptional durability are especially important. This model is often found on high-end yachts for its reliability and upscale appearance.
