This single stainless steel block with swivel head is designed for smooth rope handling and long-lasting performance in harsh marine conditions. The robust inox steel body provides excellent resistance to rust and wear, while the durable plastic sheave reduces friction for easy line movement. Thanks to its swivel eye, the block automatically aligns with the load direction, preventing rope kinks and twists and making sail or load adjustments much easier. It is ideal for use in sheets, halyards, and lifting tackle on various boats – from small fishing craft to larger sailing yachts.
The block comes in 3 sizes (variants), so you can choose the perfect capacity based on your rope diameter and expected load:
- 01484-25 (Small, Ø25 mm sheave): For 8–10 mm ropes, breaking load up to 500 kg. Best for small boats (around 3–5 m) and light-duty tasks – for example, control lines on dinghies, flag poles, small sailboat jib sheets or halyards, and other low-load applications.
- 01484-32 (Medium, Ø32 mm sheave): For 8–10 mm ropes, breaking load up to 750 kg. Suited for medium-sized boats (approximately 5–7 m) and moderate loads – such as mainsheet or jib sheet on day sailors, lifting a small outboard motor, or general deck block use on mid-sized vessels.
- 01484-50 (Large, Ø50 mm sheave): For 12–14 mm ropes, breaking load up to 1500 kg. Recommended for larger boats (7–10+ m) or heavy-duty applications – for instance, primary sheet systems on yachts, multi-purchase tackles for heavy loads, or static installations like anchor lift assists and gangway lifts.
With this stainless single block, you get high reliability and versatility for your boat’s rigging. Whether you are trimming sails under pressure or just need a dependable pulley for everyday use, this block ensures smooth line travel, saltwater resistance, and ease of operation. It’s a professional-grade solution that will serve you consistently and trouble-free in all marine conditions.
