Using the swivel on such vessels makes anchor handling easier by preventing chain snarls and ensuring the anchor always seats correctly on the bow roller.
- For Ø10–12 mm chain (Code 03183-2): The larger swivel is intended for yachts and boats (around 8–12+ m) equipped with 10 mm or 12 mm chains and heavy anchors (20–30+ kg). It provides the necessary strength for bigger loads and allows large anchors to smoothly align on the roller without twisting the chain during retrieval.
