Multi-point sequential electronic fuel injection optimizes power delivery and ensures quick starts and smooth running in all conditions, while keeping emissions ultra-low.

The DF50A also boasts a maintenance-free timing chain, providing greater peace of mind than belt-driven systems. Oil-bathed and self-adjusting, the timing chain never needs manual tension adjustment or replacement, contributing to lower upkeep costs over the engine’s life. A generous 19A alternator is built in to supply plenty of power for electronics and battery charging. And with its robust gearcase and a gear ratio of 2.27:1, this outboard can swing a larger propeller, translating the engine’s power into impressive thrust and acceleration for getting boats on plane swiftly.
