Illuminated ON/OFF Panel Switch with LED Indicator (Replacement Module)

Code:
01376

A small ON/OFF rocker switch module with built-in LED illumination, designed as a replacement for boat switch panels. Runs on 12V and lights up when the switch is on, providing a clear status indication. This switch snaps into compatible panel frames (or mounts via clips) and is commonly used in accessory or dash panels for controlling devices like lights or pumps. Rated around 10A, it’s an ideal spare part to restore functionality to worn-out switches on your control panel.

This compact illuminated switch is specifically made for marine control panels where multiple switches are arranged together. Often found as the switch element in pre-fabricated switch panels, it serves as a direct replacement (Eval part code 01376) for the ON/OFF switches in certain panel models (e.g., Eval panel codes 01353, 01355). The switch is single pole, single throw (SPST) – simple ON/OFF – and when toggled to the ON position, an internal LED glows to show activation. The LED lens or window is usually on the rocker face (commonly a small translucent dot or bar). This illumination helps the user identify which circuits are active at a glance, especially useful in low-light conditions on a boat. Installation is straightforward: the switch module has plastic retaining clips that allow it to snap into a rectangular cutout or bracket on the panel. Its front face is modest in size (to match others in a bank); typical dimensions are around 20 x 15 mm for the visible portion. The connections are via 0.250" (6.3 mm) blade terminals on the back – usually three terminals (power in, switched power out, and a separate one for the LED’s neutral/ground). For wiring, the LED is often internally connected to output, meaning it lights when the output has voltage; in other designs, it may have a dedicated terminal. This particular switch operates at 12V DC (common boat system voltage) and can handle about 10A current, making it suitable for most lighting circuits, small pumps, or electronics. If controlling larger loads, it should trigger a relay. The design is water-resistant but not fully waterproof on its own – it’s intended for interior or protected console use (often these are behind a membrane or mounted inside a covered panel). The switch’s bezel and rocker are usually black (or dark gray), with the LED shining through a colored lens (often red or amber when lit). By replacing a faulty or aged switch with this module, you restore the functionality and indicator light without having to rewire the entire panel. Simply pop out the old switch (or unscrew the panel to release it) and insert this new one in its place, connect the spade connectors for supply, load, and ground (if needed for the LED), and you’re done. The result is a neat, professional repair – the panel will have a clearly lit indicator for the circuit when ON, ensuring safety and convenience. This illuminated panel switch is a cost-effective spare to keep on hand, ensuring that if any switch in your system fails, you can quickly swap it out and maintain control of your boat’s accessories.
