It’s an excellent choice for lighter or faster boats with Johnson/Evinrude 20-35 HP engines that can achieve the necessary RPM with a 13-inch pitch. A higher pitch means the boat travels a greater distance with each rotation of the propeller, increasing speed – as long as the motor has enough power and the boat isn’t excessively burdened.

Like the other props in the series, the SOLAS Amita 3 10.1x13 is made of high-density aluminum thanks to the squeeze-casting process. This gives it the needed strength, even with the finer blade angle characteristic of higher-pitch props. The surface is finished to resist corrosion, protecting the prop during use in saltwater environments. When matched with the right boat and load, this propeller efficiently turns engine power into speed, while still retaining reasonable acceleration off the line.

Use Cases & Recommendations:
