The Mercury F4 adds a bit more punch to Mercury’s portable outboard lineup, delivering higher speed and load capacity for your boat without significantly increasing size or weight. With a 123cc single-cylinder powerhead (larger than the 2.5/3.5 models), this 4HP FourStroke offers confident thrust for inflatable tenders, small skiffs, and sailing dinghies. At approximately 24 kg, the F4 is still very much a carry-friendly motor and remains straightforward to operate.

Portable Power Boost: With 4 horsepower on tap, the F4 can get lightweight boats on plane more easily and handle slightly heavier loads than the smaller models. This makes it suitable for family trips on the dinghy or for carrying extra gear on fishing outings, all while being easy to remove and transport.
