Honda BF135D 135HP 4-Stroke Outboard Engine
The BF135D uses a 2.2L DOHC 4-cylinder engine with advanced engine controls. Honda’s VTEC engages at higher RPMs to extend the flat torque band, delivering strong mid-range acceleration. Multi-port EFI ensures precise air/fuel delivery, and Lean Burn Control automatically leans out the mixture for improved efficiency. The engine runs smoothly up to its redline thanks to optimized combustion, and a new dual-stage induction further enhances mid-to-high range power. Enhanced anti-corrosion measures (such as a two-layer paint and sacrificial anodes) and a new cooling layout keep the BF135D durable. Sharing many parts with Honda cars guarantees proven engineering, and the extensive warranty gives boaters confidence in its longevity.
