This rope ladder is a practical solution for re-boarding your boat from the water. It features a reinforced braided rope and wide, stable steps that ensure safety during use. The materials (polyester rope and polypropylene steps) resist harsh marine conditions, won’t rot, and provide a non-slip grip. The ladder folds up compactly, making it easy to stow even on small vessels.

  • 2-step ladder: The most compact option (length ~63 cm). Best for very low freeboards – for example, small inflatables or as a short ladder for children. Provides quick access when the distance from water to deck is minimal.
  • 3-step ladder: A versatile size (length ~100 cm) recommended for most small boats (10–16 ft). Covers standard boat side heights, with the bottom step dipping sufficiently into the water for easy climbing.
  • 4-step ladder: The longest model (length ~130 cm). Ideal for larger boats (over 16 ft) or higher sides where extra reach is needed. Allows comfortable boarding even if the deck is relatively high above water.

Using a rope ladder is especially useful in emergencies – if someone goes overboard, this ladder can be quickly deployed to help them climb back on board unassisted. Recommendation: Always secure the ladder’s top hooks or lines firmly to the boat before use to prevent slippage or losing the ladder into the water. The ladder is lightweight (around 1–2 kg) and highly portable, which makes it convenient to move between boats. It’s a must-have safety accessory that gives your crew confidence and self-sufficiency when getting back on board from the water.

  • It’s advisable to carry this ladder on board even if you have a fixed one – it serves as a backup emergency ladder.
  • For optimal safety, ensure the ladder is pulled taut and secured without twists when deployed, which keeps the steps stable under weight.
  • Maintenance tip: Rinse with fresh water after use in saltwater and periodically check the rope and knots for any wear or fraying.
